Spring 2016 Makeup Trends

The winter of 2015/16 has passed and it has finally taken with it the no makeup makeup trend. This spring it’s all about the vibrancy of your eyes and lips.

To kick off the season, Candy Apple lipstick is dominating the runway. Red lipstick is a classic go to lip colour that every woman has in her makeup bag, but this spring it is being used by every makeup artist in the industry. This satin finish gives this timeless colour a new lease of life.

The status quo for eyes this season is undoubtedly go big and go bold with blue eye makeup making a comeback. People are often reluctant to apply non neutral colours as they aren’t sure which look to fo for but this season it’s any way you want. Blue Smokey eyes, heavy teal eyeliner and baby blue water lines are all in for spring 2016.

Since contouring hit, bronzer has been a trend that never ends and this season isn’t exempt. The catwalk is definitely going for an endless summer vibe with the naturally dewy tan look dominating. Cream highlights and bronzers are the must have products for this year.

If like most of us you rush to do your makeup in the morning the non-existent mascara trend for the last few seasons will have been a god send. However, if like the majority you enjoy adding a little volume to your lashes then you’re in look as this season mascara is back in a big way. Unique lashes in every colour and style you can think of are in this season to match the blue eye makeup trend.

Winter may be over but the dark and moody look is still in with a coupling of darkly stained lips and either dark eye makeup or no eye makeup. Plum and darkly tinted reds are definitely the colours to focus on.

Again if you are someone who finds yourself short of time in the morning the pink and peach trend is one to get on board with. Usually these tones and reserved for lips but this spring pink is to go to for lips, cheeks and eyes.

Most makeup artists are using the same lip pencil to add a stain of colour to the lips, scribbling lightly across the cheeks and eyelids then quickly wiping it away to leave an almost ombre like peach stain.

4 Bridal Makeup Ideas for Your Special Day

Every bride wants to look extra special on her wedding day. Whether you’re planning to do your makeup yourself or you want professional help, you’ll need time, skill and a couple of trial runs to get a look that you’re comfortable with.
Here are 4 makeup ideas to help you achieve that all-important ‘wow’ factor on your special day.
1. Natural
This is the most popular makeup choice for brides.
A careful application of subtle and natural shades are used to contour your face and highlight your best features.
Natural makeup complements any style of dress or colour scheme resulting in a perfect look of timeless elegance. However, it takes a degree of patience and skill to achieve the ‘barely there’ look, so if you’re unsure how to apply your makeup correctly it’s worth hiring a professional makeup artist to do it for you.
2. Vintage
If you want to make a dramatic, bolder statement on your wedding day, go for a retro glam look inspired by the Hollywood stars of the 50s and 60s.
Eyes need special attention and need to be carefully contoured with precision. Apply false lashes and a deep red lip colour for an extra touch of glamour. Creating the perfect vintage look needs precision and skill, so consult a professional to do the job perfectly.
3. Romantic
Dusky rose and light pinks are perfect for a romantic, youthful bridall ook. Complement it with a softer, natural hairstyle, adorned with flowers.
4. Colour Themed
If your wedding has a specific colour theme, you can incorporate it into your wedding makeup. Choose softer tones of eye makeup that complement the decorations or wedding flower colours.

Wonderful Wedding Chair Covers

When it comes to wedding planning sometimes it is the little details that matter. From tablecloths to trinkets, the small things really do count, they can make great conversation icebreakers for guests. So it is important to consider the intricate aspects of a wedding. These details will feature in many of the wedding
photographs- so you will want wedding chair covers that perfectly reflect the mood of the day. We look at the best wedding chair covers available on the market.

For a walk on the wild side there are a number of animal print wedding chair covers available. Perfect for outrageous couples, the chair covers are available in zebra, tiger, leopard, and even giraffe, prints. The best animal print seat covers are made of 100% spandex, meaning they will fit on most banquet chairs.

Tradition plays a vital role in most weddings, so you can't go wrong with silk ivory wedding chair covers. Ordering neutral shades means you can dress the covers with colourful bows. Creative Cover Hire offer a rainbow of shades to choose from, including mint green, luxurious purple and sunny yellows. A simple white or ivory chair cover can become a blank canvas for a paint pot of colours.

Many women have dreamt of their wedding since they were little girls. A great way to convey this is to hire childlike floral chair caplets. This particular cover goes over the top of the chair and looks great for zany, fun weddings. The caplets come in a variety of designs, ranging from rose shapes to ballerina-shaped styles. Or for a simpler take on a caplet, just decorate the top of the chair with garlands of beautiful flowers.

Obviously it is essential to dress your bridesmaids, pageboys and best man, but you should never forget to dress your chairs and tables!

Wedding Chair Cover by Creative Cover Hire

A wedding is the celebration of two peoples love for one another, and an ode to their entwined future. So quite naturally the wedding plan for the most part develops as an excuse for extravagance, and a valid excuse at that. Every detail of that day will serve to remind you of the person you love, as they will all exist mostly due to a mutual affection.  More often than not though, the reception venue will need a little extra attention when trying to attend to these small but important details, and as with the nature of a wedding, there are so many factors at play it can be hard to keep track of everything that needs doing.

That’s why you’ll find that at most events such as this the planning and adornments are often split between multiple groups, mostly so that nothing will fall short of your expectations on this special occasion. In planning my sister’s wedding alongside her I found that the stress can exceed tolerable levels if not properly managed, so we decided that for the special details we will have to find a company dedicated to this exact function!

After hours of searching we came across an ideal candidate: Creative Cover Hire Immediately they took over the composition of the event dressing and turned a slightly dull banquet room into a magical venue. They provided a complete service including tailor made chair covers and ceiling drapes. Each minute detail from the table accessories to the aisle carpeting was specially designed and made specifically to suit the happy couple’s desires.

They approached our requisites with a keen passion for the work and provided a service perfectly suited to our needs. The wedding was a success, everything went off without a hitch and this is no small part due to the fantastic people at Creative Cover Hire and their superb service. Getting married? You know who to call!

Getting married is a big deal

Getting married is a big deal. So who can deny the happy couple the right to splash out on the little details and flavours that will make their day truly memorable? The truth is that the only obstacle in the way is cash.

The economy today isn’t exactly that friendly to peripheral matters, so I can imagine many have settled for less on account of budget constraints. The problem is that those details are in fact representative of the couple in question, they individually portray each insignificant detail of one other that makes them who they are, and ultimately led them down the path of matrimony.
Honestly though, you don’t have to skip out on those little extras, you just have to know where to look.

At Creative Cover Hire I found a truly customisable service that encompassed all aspects of the event that could be considered additional, including ceiling drapes, table adornments, high quality linens, and most notably their tailor made chair covers. Each created by a specialised team both gifted with a keen sense of design, and a fervent passion for their work.

Each aspect is approached with the clients in mind, and after learning what they can of your tastes they endeavour to apply them directly to the finally dressed venue, making absolutely sure that you are met with a sense of wonderment and astonishment when arriving on your special day.

Creative Cover Hire are a family run business who understand the importance of cooperation, and they are specialists in their field who take great pride in their ability to creatively apply your desires to their designs. If not a wedding, they can perfectly set a venue for any form of conference or event you could think of, minimal or extravagant, all you have to do is ask: www.creativecoverhire.com

The Complete Beginner's Guide to Wedding Seat Covers

You've chosen your venue, found the perfect dress, sampled plenty of cake, and agreed on a guest list. There's only one thing for it: you have to turn your attention to the décor for your venue.

One aspect you may not have considered yet (because you can't think of everything, right?) is your wedding seat covers – essential for an elegant finishing touch. So, just for you, here's a beginner's guide to choosing wedding seat covers for your big day:

Vintage Style
To create the perfect vintage theme, choose cool blue (think Wedgewood china), or opt for simple ivory colours. Incorporating some lace into your chair sashes can help create that perfect vintage atmosphere.

1920s + 30s Glam
To introduce a touch of Hollywood glam to your big day, think contrast. Opting for black chairs is a bold, striking move, which is becoming increasingly fashionable for weddings, exuding style and timeless sophistication.

Golden Wonder
If your reception is taking place in an unusual venue, such as a museum, art gallery, or a boutique hotel, choose opulent golden sashes to create an atmosphere of warmth and luxury. It's also an optimistic colour – after all, gold is the colour for your 50th wedding anniversary!

Seasonal Inspiration
Be inspired by the season of your wedding. Choosing mellow yellow for the summer brings the sunshine indoors, whereas rustic reds and oranges work perfectly for your autumnal wedding day. A white and blue theme brings to mind wintry icicles, and fresh greens work perfectly on a spring day.

Romantic Red
This vibrant, romantic colour is perfect for weddings, no matter what the season. Red is the colour of love and this will demonstrate to your guests that this day, for you, is about passion and the power of love. Scorchio!

Whatever theme you choose for your big day, remember that choosing the right colour for your wedding seat covers can help create the perfect atmosphere.

5 Reasons Every Bride Needs Wedding Seat Covers

5 Reasons Every Bride Needs Wedding Seat Covers

The average bride spends 200 hours planning her wedding. With so much to think about – dress, food, venue, flowers, guest list – it's little wonder the small details, such as wedding seat covers, can be overlooked (unless the bride's bagged an incredible wedding planner). And how necessary are wedding seat covers, anyway? As long as the venue has seats to sit on, it doesn't matter what they look like... does it?

Think again. Here are five reasons you need wedding seat covers for your big day:

1.      Cover a multitude of sins. Unless you've struck it lucky and organized your wedding at a venue that's just had a complete refurb, chances are those chairs have been sat on rather a lot. So eliminate the sight of those shabby, worn chairs and replace them with an elegant, stylish cover.

2.      Change the feel of a venue. Let's face it – many venues chosen for weddings hold other corporate events and can feel a little stuffy. Choosing the right seat covers can introduce a sense of occasion and style, and soften those harsh corporate edges.

3.      Add to your perfect theme. Do you really want modern boardroom-style chairs at a vintage wedding? Or purple-patterned chairs at an autumnal theme with all those wonderful bright oranges? Hello, clash! Wedding seat covers can ensure the chairs match the theme, for that perfect finishing touch.

4.      A sense of uniformity. Okay, perhaps the chairs at your venue work fairly well with your theme, but disaster strikes – you've miscounted guest numbers and urgently need to find some extra chairs, but the only ones available are a different color. If they're all covered, nobody will ever know.

5.      The wow factor. Quite simply, wedding seat covers can add the wow factor to your special day.

So if you want to add some extra WOW to your wedding – consider wedding seat covers. That way you won't be distracted by the tatty seat out the corner of your eye, and will be able to focus all your attention on your gorgeous groom instead.
